New UKGame Server

Wahoo!!! Teamhost is history, we have moved to a new provider.
We have joined the ranks of the new and rapidly growing server provider UKGame. We have paid for 6 month's so no more new ip's every five minutes.
The new ip is,

Once again TEAMHOST have let us down. I server is down, we are unable to get an explaination as to why has happened as there has been no responce from customer support.
I strongly recommend that this server company is avoided at all cost by anybody wishing to purchase a UK based game server.
This is what they claim about themselves:-
TEAMHOST has been established since 2005 and has established a reputation within the game server industry as a one of the innovators in respect of service levels and pricing structures.
They are easyly the worst provider [*BGF*] have the missfortune to be involved in.

After 5 days of frustration and almost totally absence of customer support from TEAMHOST we have finally resolved the issue's regarding our server.
The server is running again, however due to a mistake by TEAMHOST we have been forced to switch to a new IP address. [*BGF*] apologise for this change and hope that out regular players can find us again.
The new ip is 85.234.155.45:27020

We are currently experiencing serious technical difficulties with our two week old Teamhost server. Currently it is offline (Total of four days now) due to unexplained reasons, check back later for further updates.

As you may have noticed [*BGF*] has gone through a recent revival with a new recruitment drive, largely thanks to [*BGF*]Houndog's efforts.
You should be seeing a lot more of us on the server and in clan matches from here on in. So please come join us on our new (again) server... if you can get on that is ;-)

Another superb LAN party for [*BGF*] and a reminder for why we're still together as a clan! Blackadder Goes Forth may not be as active as we once were but we're stronger than ever. Clan members converged on Northants from as far south as Exeter and as far north as Glasgow to enjoy plenty of LAN antics.
Many thanks to Captain Darling for hosting yet another successful LAN party with plenty of drinks, plenty of food and just enough gaming!

DoD Community map packs.

The [*BGF*] server now has both the Camp 1 and 2 map packs installed on it. If anybody would like to play please these ask an admin.
Camp 1:
dod_coire: A remake of the stock DOD 1.3 map chemille.
dod_strand: Strand is a faithful recreation of the classic beach map, Charlie.
dod_vigilance: Vigilance has a fairly unique sense of vertical gameplay.
Camp 2:
DoD_Aura: is a brand new map! 5 flags and fast-action.
DoD_Churchyard: is a very popular custom with slight improvements to gameplay and a visual step forward!
DoD_Tunisia: features detonation combat in a North African city!
DoD_Stug: is the classic DoD flag capture map.
DoD_Crash: is the arena map dod_notorange with a fresh coat of paint!

Stats Upgraded to Psychostats v3.0.4

We've upgraded our stats to Psychostats V3 for everyone viewing pleasure and amusement. You can find the stats here or by clicking the "Server Stats" link in the server menu.
The old stats are still available here but aren't being updated as often. Our new stats will update themselves every hour on the hour so you don't have to wait in order to have a bit of a chuckle.

[*BGF*] Blackadder Goes Forth reached the grand old age of 6 years old yesterday. It all kicked off at the very beginning of Day of Defeat (on a night of intoxication) and we're still here today (celebrating by getting intoxicated!)
Happy Birthday [*BGF*], and here's to many more years of frivolity!
Thank you to everyone who's worked hard to make this clan what it is and keep it going and to all our regulars who enjoy a good laugh and a few kills on the server.

Just a quick message to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Hope you enjoyed the festive season and you're down the Gym working off all those Mince Pies (if you can't make it then just hop onto the server for some DoD:S instead!)

In other news, if you're interested in Relic's Company of Heroes pop in the forums and let us know your in-game name. The game's got quite a [*BGF*] following now and we're always up for some great RTS carnage and fun. You can find the appropriate forum here.
